Artist's Description
Regardless of the season, Canyonlands National Park offers plenty of beautiful sights. I'm particularly fond of winter here. I love the way snow accents the scenery, and there are far fewer people to compete with for that perfect spot at the overlooks. Views facing east from the Island in the Sky section will often feature the La Sal Mountains in the distance. This shot was taken on the road back to Moab shortly after exiting the park for the day.
