Description

The fall foliage is not the only source of colorful scenes in the Smokies. A favorite spot of tourists and locals alike, from which to view sunsets, is the parking lot of Clingmans Dome. The colors can be amazing. And sometimes the colors are their best after the sun has dipped below the horizon. If you're lucky, some low lying clouds will drift into the scene hugging the mountainside.
